Personal Statement
Greetings to anyone reading my PS!
My name is Roberto Guida Nogueira and I'm a 6'5", 210lbs SF. from Brazil. I am unsigned college freshman with 4 years of eligibility left. I WILL BE PLAYING IN TWO SHOWCASES IN CLEVELAND, OHIO JUNE 10th and 11th, 2023. I invite any coaches that are interested to come and evaluate me playing live.
What makes me a good candidate for any team, what is different about me?
- I've got superb court vision and basketball IQ for my position. I've played FIBA basketball throughout all of my career and it helped to develop my ball IQ, as there is much more focus on understanding the game, passing and cutting rather than individual player development
- I believe I'm a high-character person. I always try to be the player with the most energy on the floor or, at the bench. I always try to find ways to get better, always try to be a leader to my teammates(my leadership is the main reason I was team captain in my senior year). I believe those traits can help build a better environment anywhere, in the classroom, with your family, your teammates, with your co-workers...
- I'm an all-around player, capable of scoring off the dribble, scoring off-ball(attacking closeouts, C&S), passing, defending multiple positions, etc. I can do everything on the floor
-Overall, a selfless player. I'm never satisfied, yet never bothered when not playing. I always value team success over individual success.
I'm looking for a place to develop as a man, player and student.
