Nice to meet you and thanks for reading my profile.
I’m Noa Gustafson class of 2022, currently a Junior at International Sports Academy at Andrews Osborne Academy near Cleveland, Ohio.
I have roots in both Japan and the US (Indiana) and I have grown up closely connected to both cultures. I am a dual citizen of the US and Japan.
I discovered basketball as a fun pastime and an escape from tough times in my life, but it has grown from an interest to be a passion and now a commitment for me.
In the future, my goal is to play at the highest level I can through my time in high school and to continue my journey at the college level in the US.
In the summers of 2018 and 2019 I traveled with my AAU the Tokyo Samurai and played in various tournaments including the Double Pump Summer Tip-Off, and Adidas Summer Gauntlet in Los Angeles. It was a great learning experience and really solidified my motivation to keep working towards the future.
On June 22nd and 23rd of 2019 I was honored to have the chance to attend the “Underrated” camp with Steph Curry in Tokyo which is the only stop the camp is making outside the US. I made the cut from 120 athletes day 1 to the select group of 30 on day 2. Additionally, I was selected to represent the camp in a press conference alongside Steph Curry which was an amazing experience.
On the academic side, I continue to work hard. My cumulative GPA is a 3.6 so far in high school.
Thanks for your interest in my profile and for any suggestions you may have for my continued growth.
