Personal Statement
I have been playing basketball since I was a very young age. I grew up around the game of basketball, and i have wanted to play at the college level as long as I can remember. Given the opportunity I would love the chance to play at the highest level of college basketball, and against the best players in the country. I love the opportunity to play against the best players, as it helps make me a better player.
Off the court I work very hard to keep my grades at a high level. I think being a student, and maintaining good grades in the classroom, is very important. I am in the National Honor Society, which helps out in the community.
I think that I could help your team by my work ethic, and my IQ for the game. I started playing tournaments in third grade, and for most of my life I played against older kids. I love to get in the gym, and workout with my dad and get a lot of shots up, so I can keep improving my game. I think some of the strong points of my game are the way I can see the floor, and find open teammates, and my ability to play defense on other teams guards.I was voted team captain as a sophomore by teammates, so I think that kind of shows that I am a leader on the court.
