Personal Statement
My name is Collin Breen and I will graduate May 26, 2019 from Fairfield High School. I have been a multi-sport athlete through my middle and high school year. The last two years my focus has been on basketball and football. I am starting my third year as a varsity starter at FHS. I have also played seven years of travel basketball for Iowa Pump n Run, an AAU team coached by Duez Henderson, based out of Iowa City, IA. I would welcome the opportunity to play basketball at the college level. It is important to me to further my education or training following high school graduation. I realize the importance of furthering my education and the ties to later success in my career and life. If I could play the sport in which I am passionate about, and have a good college basketball playing experience, I would feel very fortunate. I am a team player and will give you a 110% on the court. I show up on time, play fast by in control, am unselfish, and support all teammates. I understand there are many aspects of playing basketball beyond scoring that make a well-rounded player. I am open to all of those aspects and take pride in being versatile.
