Personal Statement
Since I caught the vision for basketball while playing for a 4th grade traveling basketball team, my dream has been to play college basketball and to pursue a career centered around basketball and sports. I am intelligent and try to stay in great physical shape and earn good grades. I also learn a lot outside of the classroom.
I'm devoted to honing my skills on the court and seek every opportunity to practice & learn. I've been on several traveling teams, including in AAU leagues as well as on my schools' teams in Eagle Grove and in South Central Calhoun school districts in Iowa. I've played every position well, but most often play as a small forward or shooting guard. I believe in good sportsmanship, cooperative teamwork, and setting high goals. In fall of 2017, I will be a high school freshman and the head coach has offered me a varsity position on the basketball team.
I hope to build mutually beneficial relationships with coaches & others in the industry so that I might receive help and direction in achieving my dream goals of being professionally involved with basketball.
