Colby Keller '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Colby Keller.  I am a senior at IKM-Manning High School, in Manning, IA.  Basketball is my passion and I hope to continue to play in college.  I am a good student with a 3.7 G.P.A. I am different from other recruits in that I don't partake in the party scene.  I have spoken out against teenage drinking even knowing it would hurt me socially.  I am also not taking only easy classes during my senior year.  I have been challenging myself with college classes.  I have been on a club/select basketball team since 6th grade.  For 3 years I played for Western Iowa Express out of Treynor, IA.  I just finished my 3rd year with Western Iowa Coyotes.  I joined the Coyotes when Nick Putnam added a high school team to the program.  This allowed my brothers and I to all play under the same organization, making it easier for travel.  

My first couple of games for my senior season, were a slow start for me.  Since then, I am usually our top scorer.  According to Quick Stats, I am currently shooting 48.6% from the 3 point area and our overall top scorer on the team this year.
