The first time I picked up a basketball, I have always had the drive to improve. Ever since then, I have been pushing not only myself, but my teammates as well. I feel that my seventh grade year is when I started to rapidly grow, and have never stopped, athletically and academically. During my freshman and sophomore year, I grew the most as a player and as a person. I stepped up and took the role of being a team leader and player. Whatever the coach needed me to do, I would do the best of my ability to fulfill that role. I created deep friendships with all of my teammates and knew what they were doing on the court. On the court, I pick up my teammates, communicate, and do the little things. Off the court I will do my absolute best in classes and everyday life. I will make the sacrifices that our team needs to win games and become better players and people.
