Personal Statement
My passion for basketball started at a very young age. I first started playing organized basketball at the age of five. Since then my love for the game has grown into the goal of playing at the collegiate level. I have strong ball handling skills, great court vision, and a high basketball IQ. I am a natural born leader and strive to better my teammates who are at all levels of the game. I am very coachable and aim to be one of the hardest working players on the court.
Off the court, I work hard to excel in the classroom. Some of my goals are to maintain a high GPA and be the Valedictorian of my class. Currently, I have earned the Gold Honor Roll status and am a member of the National Honor Society and the Business Club.
I aspire to attend a college where I can not only challenge myself in the classroom, but also on the basketball court. I am open to all possibilities and my goal is to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I have strived to become a role model to the younger kids on and off the court. Many people, including my family, have helped me along this journey. Playing college basketball and achieving my academic goals would give me the opportunity to make them proud.
