My name is Demario Johnson and I am 5’ 9” 170 lbs. I can play both point and shooting guard, which they both are my primary position. I am a recent 2023 graduate from Life Preparatory Academy, located in Wichita Kansas. My goals as of now is to pursue my Bachelor degree in Exercise Science or Physical Therapy. I’m looking for a college that can help me both with my academic and career goals. Basketball have been a very important part of my life sense I was a young child. When the pandemic hit, that’s when I was in my jr year of high school. At that time I was in the Bahamas and all sports came to a stop. After having conversations with my parents we decided that it would be best that I relocate and study overseas. That’s when I enroll into Life Pre Academy. There at Life Prep I played my senior year. I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. From I first stepped on the court, I knew I wanted to play professional basketball. My dream is to become one of the top NBA players.
I have strong ball handling skills (both hands) also a strong IQ. I can play both point and shooting guard, but my primary position is shooting guard. I strive to be one of the hardest working player and I always put my teammates first then me. My G.P.A is at 3.0 and I plan on working harder to bring it up to 3.5 and above.
I have receive many basketball accolades such as best sportsman 2012, most outstanding camper 2016-2017, M.V.P 2015, 5 championship trophy, 12 championship medals and AAU D3 championship medal.
I also attended basketball camps at Orlando Magic Youth Basketball Camp. Summer of 2013-2014 my rating at the Orlando Magic camp overall was 4 ad 5, the four for All Star and five for M.V.P. My sportsmanship and work ethic all 5 rating. Summer 2015-2016 winter camp at Orlando Magic camp rating’s scale overall was 4-5. On ball handling 5, shooting 5, speed and quickness 4. In 2017-2018 Orlando Magic Camp receive the All Star Award. That year my rating was all 5’s. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court. I want to find a college that would be at its highest level of competition possible.
June 25th, 2022 I attended the All American Basketball Showcase , where I was one of the top three players chosen . You can visit my Instagram page 2valid_mario to view. I attended the Youngstown summer elite camp in June.
