Personal Statement
I am motivated in life, the classroom and on the court by hard work, positive encouragement, discipline and laughter. I have been working hard towards my goal of playing college basketball through my high school years and have been playing since I was in kindergarten.
On the court I am a strong team player and leader. My strengths are playing on the post and getting rebounds. I can finish with my right as well as my left and can shot well within 15 feet. I just turned 17 years old and due to my summer birth date, I still am growing physically and will continue to grow athletically on my foot speed, agility as well as adding bulk and muscle.
I want to explore a business/finance degree and currently have earned enough credits to be a second semester freshman in college when I graduate from high school. I currently carry a high GPA by taking AP and Honors classes.
I will work hard for the college I attend on the court, but also in the classroom to make my coaches, teammates and family proud. I will conduct myself with honor and respect to fulfill my obligations. My main goals for college are playing a high level of basketball while getting the best education possible.
