Though I am only going to be a junior with lots of basketball ahead of me, my basketball career has been very successful. However, through all the success, I have learned most from my failures and losses. Those are the things that helped me to learn, grow, and have driven me to become the best athlete, competitor, student, and leader that I can possibly be.
As a point guard, I have been fortunate enough to lead my school and AAU teams to very successful seasons. Through AAU and national camps I have been able to compete against some of the best competition in the nation. This has helped me as an individual, but also it has taught me the importance of teamwork, and it has improved my skills as a leader on and off the court. I believe my talent, work ethic, leadership, and character will make me an immediate impact on your program. As an ambitious and devoted athlete and student, I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!

- “Aden Slone (Boyle County HS/Danville, KY) 2022 5’9 PG - One of the most impressive prospects during the 2018 SE All-Freshman Invitational was Aden Slone, a kid we first laid eyes on at the Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase. This left-handed point guard was a magician when setting up teammates for open looks. He has an excellent handle that allowed him to get wherever he wanted on the floor. What we also loved was how well Aden played through ball pressure as it didn’t rattle him at all. His jumpshot from beyond the arc was just like new money. Aden was so impressive he walked away with a Top 20 Allstar game selection, 1st Team All Showcase selection, Best Playmaker Award, and runner up in the 3-pt Contest.”

- This was an event in which the top players from each state (Kentucky and Indiana) were selected to represent their state in an All-Star game. In the end we (team KY) pulled out and won by 2 points.

- 5’8 PG Aden Slone – Boyle County One of the highest IQ lead guards in Kentucky regardless of class, Slone is loaded with skills. His handles are tight, his court vision is off the charts, and his playmaking ability is second to none. Standing at around 5’8, he has a strong body that he uses to finish after absorbing contact. The crafty PG has the ability to shoot the ball with range and being able to play through ball screens makes him a real threat to stop.
