While they're many athletes, they're aren't many student athletes. I consider myself a student athlete of both the game and with completing my school work. Although I am young, my hard work ethic and dedication show my maturity and ability to handle or overcome the obstacles ahead of me; both on and off of the court. I've won great character awards and presidential awards in the near past. Not many athletes can say they've won awards of such magnitude. Athletics wise, I've competed against or played with some of the best players around the country year after year and I can still be considered one of the top prospects. That focus, push, and dedication I am able to put towards basketball carries on into my school work. So far I've been able to maintain a 3.6-3.7 GPA. While that isn't great, it shows the work a student athlete puts towards his education. Yet I still find myself striving to turn that grade point average into a 4.0
