Personal Statement
Basketball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From my first playschool basketball goal to today, I have always loved the game. As I approach the beginning of my senior year in high school, I realize more than ever how important the game is to me. I have learned so much from the game, including the importance of teamwork, dedication to my craft and the ability to overcome adversity. I definitely welcome the opportunity to continue to play the game I love while continuing my education. I believe that playing basketball has given me structure regarding academics, and helped me to succeed in the classroom. If given the opportunity to play basketball in college, I will give my all to be an outstanding representative of the university and to contribute in any way to ensure the team's success.
