Personal Statement
I want to succeed. I understand that it takes hard work to do this. I believe in my abilities and am excited to have a team of people around who also believe in me and will help me go further.
My parents taught my brother and I that every time we learn something we grow. I set a goal early to obtain higher learning on a college level. I want to obtain my degree and also teach what I learn.
I have played basketball since I was 6 years old. I learn more about the game as I get older. I love it more the further I go. Playing on teams with the city park's All-Stars, school and A.A.U., have all exposed me to different experiences, knowledge and aspects of the game. I never like it when our team loses so I leave it all on the floor. This takes away some of the sting whenever our team does lose. I love to win and celebrate with my team. Each coach I meet has different knowledge and skills that they teach me. I am looking forward to learning and experiencing more on a collegiate level.
