Personal Statement
My name is Daniel Jirod Allen. I am a 5'10, 160 lbs. speedy guard. I can play with and without the ball, also my favorite part of the game is defense. I work hard everyday, not only on the court but off the court as well as in the classrooms. I love competition and want to play against the best day in and day out. I can score on all three levels of the court, while still being able to see the court and set up my teammates. This up coming season will be my senior year at White Castle High School in Louisiana, where I have been on the varsity squad since my freshman year. I am one of the first in the gym but the last to leave, and if im not one of the first in, I will stay after practice. My love for the game keeps me wanting more and to never stop. This is why it has always been my dream to play on the college level and I promised myself I would turn that dream into a reality.
