Rayan El Amine '19 Recruiting Profile

I hope to find a competitive school, where I can feel like I'm reaching my potential academically and athletically. I hope to study Journalism, and go on to report on world issues, thus making an impact. My stocky build, and athleticism allow me to play with guys down low, and my ball handling and ability to shoot allow me to both push the ball, and spread the floor. This versatility is what can help me, and as I continue to improve my jumpshot, will make me an even better asset to a team. Beyond strong academics, and a healthy work ethic, I feel like I add a winning attitude, as to not sound cliche, I understand what it takes to win, and have been a part of some great locker rooms, filled with college players. I understand how important it is to pick the next guy up, and would love to be a part of a team that embodies that. Finally, overcoming challenge has always been a part of my family values, and thus I understand that with success comes bumps in the road, and I hope to find a college that can push me in that facet, and make me a better basketball player, and better man.
