As all other kids living in Serbia, basketball was part of my life from early age. Playing 3 x 3 street basketball was every day a “must do” same as going to school. When I become freshman in one of local High Schools, I realize I have a bit more talent and ambition and join one local youth team. From than it was just matter of time when I was sure what I want to do in sport and in my life. And those two where connected from the beginning, end they still are…

I was always doing good at school and now I had sport I am good at it. It was not difficult to see opportunity to put this together to achieve my life ambition and go to college where I can become PE teacher or Coach and at the same time play sport that I love and hopefully even have some success playing on the way.

I was fortunate enough and I always will be grateful for support in my family, for my given talent, for great coach I had in my first years, who made me understand that basketball is a team sport, nothing comes without hard work, playing defense (which I love) is important as offence and more than anything else, school is important as much as your love for sport. For past years I experience already a joy of success and achievements. I played starter in all my teams, wining youth VIBA regional league 2015 in Novi Sad (Serbia); with “KK Budućnost” Novi Sad (Serbian DIV II), season 2015/16 winning KSV U19 League; and this year, playing for “Washington Academy” HS, E. Machias,ME reaching play-offs as new coming team in class B of Main regional HS League. In addition, in same year, with WA soccer team, we were runner-up in reginal finals, and I was awarded to All-star team.

I strongly believe I can make significant contribution academically and in sport, to anny College in DIV II.
