Personal Statement
Hello my name is Jamze Johnson. I am a good student who carries a 3.5 gpa. All of my core classes are honors level and above. My favorite subject is history. My ultimate goal is to work in the business industry. I have a very good work ethic and do not shy away from hard work. I take pride in my academics therefore, my coaches have never had to worry about my grades. In my free time I help my Dad deliver food to the needy (since age 12).
As far as basketball goes, On offense, I am a team oriented point guard/shooting guard with elite scoring and passing skills. I can score using my shiftiness/ quickness or by using my extremely accurate jumper from any spot on the floor. On defense, I use my quickness to my advantage when guarding players on the perimeter. When it comes to guarding taller players, I use my quick hands to create lose balls and steals. For my height I can jump pretty high. I have one step max vertical leap of 37.5 inches.
