Personal Statement
I have always been interested in basketball ever since I was little. Basketball has taught me how to be a leader; it has taught me that a work ethic is applicable on the court and in the classroom; it has taught me how to handle adversity, and make difficult decisions under pressure. By being a military child, I have had to reinvent my game every time I moved to a different location and program. This forced me to work on every facet of my game until I had a set of skills that allowed me to stay on the floor.
I am looking for a program that will allow me to be developed in the classroom as well as on the court. Academics are the most important part of choosing the right school. I have the talent, a great work ethic, leadership qualities, and I am very coach-able. I believe that I can have an immediate impact on your college program.
