Personal Statement

I'd like to get scholarship to play college basketball, that's a major goal of mine. I learned at young age how to work hard and play good defense. I'm a big, strong, and athletic guard that score the ball from different spots on the court. I have the ability to play and defend multiple positions. Im a pretty good rebounder, and passer. Most important I'm a winner, and I make my teammates better. Academically I have to improve my overall GPA from a 2.65. I have yet to take the SAT or ACT, but I will be taking SAT prep over the summer to insure I have a decent score to play college basketball. Im also a member of the ROTC and I enjoy volunteering in my community. I've done volunteer work at my church. I also sing in the choir. My plans over the summer is to continue improving my game especially my ball handling and my midrange jump shot.

Lost tough games to nationally ranked Hargrave. Turnovers killed our team in the end, but we took that powerhouse all the way to the door. Game 2 ended in heartbreaking fashion. We played the famous Mt. Zion academy from North Carolina. Both teams went back and with with each for most of the game. A buzzer beating three pointer sealed out fate. Individually I played well averaging a double double in both games

Maryland state high school playoffs

The quest for a state championship began last night Feb 26. Our team defeated a very tough Friendly High School 73-58. It wasn't my best offensive performance finishing with 9 points 13 rebounds. the road gets tougher when we play the #2 seed Douglas High school. This game we have circled as we plan to avenge a lost from last year playoff run We play Monday Feb 29 at 7:00pm in their gym.

Tough Loss in the championship game against Theodore Roosevelt (DC). we aloud them to come back from a 15point third Quarter lead. I fouled out early in the forth quarter which was a major turning point in the game. Not my finest moment at all, 6pts 4assist, 1block 5fouls

Great win against a very good Bowie High school.. They are ranked in the top 20 in DC Metro area. It wasn't my best game shooting, but I was able to lead my team to victory in the end. I finished with 12pts 13rebs 5 blocks and 6 assist.
