Personal Statement
As a student-athlete my goal is to attend a 4-year college that has my major as well as a high-level basketball program. I would like to attend a school whose basketball program values integrity, respect, academics and honor.
I believe I am a great candidate for any team because I receive and apply constructive feedback. Athletically I am mobile, aggressive, I can impact shots, I can shoot, dribble, attack the basket, and create for my teammates. Furthermore, I am always looking for ways to separate myself from my competition. My character is different from other recruits because I aim to hold myself to the standards God holds me to. When people see me, I want them to know that I am a Christian by the way I conduct myself.
I consider myself a blue-chip athlete because I understand the importance of academics while simultaneously being an athlete. I understand that a career as an athlete is temporary. Therefore, my vision and aspiration is to pursue a degree that will allow me to continue to be involved with basketball on an alternate platform such as creating a community youth center program.
