Cody Sloniecki '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Cody Sloniecki. I am 6'3", 185 lbs., and play basketball, football and baseball. As a sophomore, I started on the varsity basketball and baseball teams. I was made honorable mention for the South Coast Conference and played in the Cape Cod All-Star game, both in basketball. As a junior, I started varsity in all three sports. In basketball, I was voted to play for the South Coast Conference All-Star game, the Cape Cod All-Star game, and also the Greater New Bedford Boys and Girls Club All-Star game. As a senior, I started varsity in football and basketball. I made captain on the basketball team. Our team finished in second place. I have been elected to play in the New Bedford Boys and Girls Club All-Star Game, and the South Coast Conference All-Star Game. I am also a nominee for the Dave Cowens Basketball Achievement Award. It has always been my dream to pursue sports in college. I would like to go to college somewhere in an urban setting, or somewhere on the east coast. I like urban areas because ever since I was a little kid I enjoyed the city life. I am open to any kind of school. My desired major would be Criminal Justice because I would like to be a police officer after I finish my basketball career. My athletic goals in college are to play as a freshman and make the biggest impact I can on any team I play on.
