2017 Highlights Personal Statement
I come from a humble family that is constantly pushing me to succeed and over come any obstacle that is thrown my way. My goal is to make it to the NBA, and be a role model for children around the world who have no one to look up to. I do not smoke or take any type of drugs and if I did my mother would kill me because she is a nurse. Basketball is a gateway for me and I am at my best when I'm on the court. I strive for academic excellence which most people who play this game think that just their talent is enough to get them through lifes hardships. I am a hard worker and when I say I'm going to do something I do it. I'm responsible for my mistakes and respect all coaches, teams, and other players. I never complain, and when I play I give it my all. I hope to attend a four year college and use my math skills to pursue a career in engineering, or finance, or other math oriented fields.
