One of the highlights of my high school basketball career was playing in my first holiday tournament and being selected as one of the tournament All-Stars. My love for basketball started in fifth grade playing for the town’s basketball team, the first few years, I learned the basics of the game, in my final year of play for the town’s basketball team, the team was coached by a new coach with a different coaching philosophy and style of play which the team responded well to. We went from a team that had three losing seasons, to a team with a 17 and 1 record, which resulted in the team winning the Divisional Championship for the league. It was then that I began to realize the importance of hard work, individual and team commitment and the role these attributes play in sports and life. Since then I have dedicated myself on the court, in the gym, and in the classroom to making my goal of playing at the college level attainable.
I am looking for program that would be a good fit for me as a student athlete. My work ethic, determination, leadership skills and willingness to learn and become a better player and person are attributes that will make a positive contribution on your program.
