Lj Davis '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Latanze Jermaine Davis II, however I prefer to go by LJ.  I am a 6’1 inch senior student of the graduating class of 2023 at Cass Technical high school in Detroit, Michigan. I am passionate and dedicated to the game of basketball and my goal is to continue playing at the collegiate level. 

In the classroom, I consistently work hard to maintain good grades.  I am a leader amongst my peers.  I use my voice to promote positivity while encouraging and uplifting others.  On the basketball court I bring great energy to the game.  I am an unselfish player and routinely give up personal glory to do what is best for my team. I work hard to manage the demands of being a student athlete.  In college I plan to study Business Administration or Sports Management because this gives me a diverse skillset while pursuing my love for sports.

I am resilient and I do not give up in the face of adversity. It makes me work harder.  I am committed to refining my game.  My positive attitude combined with a belief that I can always learn new skills and improve through practice is what has shaped me into the person and player I am today.
