Personal Statement
Attending College has always been a goal of mine. My education has and will give me a solid foundation for my future career goals. This past year I had the opportunity to take college credits during my junior year in secondary school and that has opened my mind to my future and the goals I have set for my education. One of the subjects that I’m passionate about is Math so much so that I have been awarded the top math wizard in my class since primary school. Math has driven my passion to study aerospace engineering in which I plan to pursue as my major. I have also been active in my school and community by being apart of many clubs and plan to continue them in college, clubs such as DECA, GDYT, Peer Leader, Debate, Speech Class, Soccer,Basketball and football team, Deloitte Cornerstone Career Pathways Scholar (DCCP), Robotics, and Dual Enrollment.
I am drawn to the University for many reasons one being that it will provide the necessary education and training that I need to continue and pursue my passion in becoming an Aerospace Engineer. I also strive to work with a diverse group of people that share the same mindset and educational goals as I do. I truly believe that your University will accommodate me in this pursue. I look forward to discovering my place in the world by furthering my education at your University and taking the necessary steps towards becoming a future Aerospace Engineer.
For most of my primary and secondary school life I have been an IEP student. That title gave other people the thought that I’m slower worker than others and that I'm not able to do things by myself and always need special help. Me as an hard worker pushed myself to do things nobody else could do or work hard enough to do. I always look over the average of people around me and push myself to big and better responsible.
