Personal Statement
I fell in love with basketball very early, attending youth clinics put on by the local HS. That lead to me starting rec ball in 3rd grade and AAU in 4th grade. In addition, I served as “Ball Boy” for my high school’s varsity team from 4th grade through 7th grade which had a great impact on my development as a player. It not only exposed me to the game at a higher level but it gave me the motivation to set a goal of playing on varsity as a freshman. Not only did I meet that goal, I was also named all-conference honorable mention. My sophomore season I made 1st team all-conference. I followed these two seasons up by making BCAM All-State HM this past season. My new goals are to help my team win conference and district championships and to earn the opportunity to play basketball at the collegiate level.
Outside of playing basketball, I enjoy volunteering with the youth basketball organization in our community. I really like working with younger players to help them improve their skill level and build a love for the game. I also enjoy playing golf and spending time with my family.
