Throughout my life, many leadership experiences have molded me to the athlete that I have become today. These experiences include going on mission trips with my church to other states and countries in need of help. I also participate in a youth leadership organization called the FFA, which has given me the opportunity to go to multiple leadership conferences across the country. Through hard work and determination all of these experiences have translated to the basketball court where I am currently a captain on my school’s basketball team.
I love basketball and it is something I would love to do in the future if anyone gave me that opportunity. I also am a very versatile student-athlete. I have been on a club swim team for over ten years, participated in tennis clubs, played multiple years of soccer, and aside from sports I play the piano and work on my dad’s farm. I would be very grateful if someone could give me the chance to play in college and they would see the great leader and student-athlete that I have become.
