Personal Statement
Hello, I'm Joel Breeding. I come from a small town in southeastern Michigan. I play shooting guard and small forward. My game mainly consists of shots from behind the arc. However, with the past year of extra practice and work my game has developed into an inside-outside game. I have very good court vision, and a high basketball IQ. I always try my best to make other people around me better while I'm playing. The most important thing to me is winning. When I have free time, I'll go outside and shoot for a couple hours. I've never been a trouble maker or one to do anything that could jeopardize my future. My goal in life has always been to get a 4 year degree by playing basketball at the collegiate level. I am willing to put in the extra hours, go to practice everyday, make sure my homework is done, and just work hard in order to meet the expectations of coaches, staff, family, and myself. I want to go to college and play basketball for many reasons. I love the game and I'm constantly trying to improve it. I'm very coachable and willing to be critiqued also. If you asked me one question about what I want for my future, I'd tell you that I want to go to college, get a degree, graduate, and then give back to my parents who worked so hard to give me the best childhood any kid could ask for.
