Personal Statement
I completed my freshman season (2016-17) as a shooting guard for Case Western Reserve University. As part of the UAA Conference, I played in the top NCAA Division III conference in the nation. Along with playing basketball, I aim to earn a degree in a field that will allow me to love what I do. I am currently pursuing a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Notre Dame and intend to couple the degree with business management. I came into my freshman season athletically ready and worked intensely through the season against some of the toughest opponents in Division III. I am extremely competitive in the classroom and on the court. I am an excellent shooter from all areas on the court and an extremely aggressive defender. I have a vertical lift that gets me well above the rim and I maintain a very high basketball IQ. The success of the team comes before my personal success. There is no challenge I will not accept and no obstacle I cannot overcome. I play at 100%, 100% of the time. I am a hard worker, a team player, and a leader. Everything I do is for the good of the team. I am an extremely motivated person. I strive to excel on and off the court. I work relentlessly to keep my grades up while pursuing rigorous courses and I train constantly to improve my basketball skills. I am always looking for a challenge.
