Personal Statement

My Personal Statement

I am a 5’ 11” point guard from Kensington, MN and will graduate in the class of 2018. I have played on the West Central Area High School varsity team for four years, starting for three, and I have been a captain for the past two years. I have also excelled in the classroom; I have a 4.0 GPA and a 30 ACT score.

My ideal college will have the right balance between athletics and academics. I plan on studying pre-medicine and then continuing my academic career to become a doctor. My goal is to join a basketball team where I can really make a difference. I want to be able to use my gifts and talents of hard work and leadership to positively impact any team.

If you are looking for a smart, hardworking basketball player who will do everything he can to help your team and his teammates do the best they possible can, I’m the guy for you. I will stop nothing short of a perfect effort in everything I do. I will continue to grow as a basketball player and I will lead by example by always going the extra mile.
