When I picked up a basketball at the YMCA at 5, I knew it was more than just a game; it was my passion. Growing up, I spent countless hours on the court with my dad, honing my skills, studying the game, and striving to improve every day. As a multisport athlete, I've competed in baseball from 4th to 8th grade and currently play varsity football (WR) and varsity track (100-meter dash, 4x100 relay, HJ, and LJ), which complements my basketball journey by sharpening my physical abilities, mental toughness, and adaptability. My diverse athletic background makes me a well-rounded and versatile player.
Balancing multiple sports has taught me invaluable lessons in time management, resilience, and versatility. The discipline required to excel in various arenas has only deepened my love for basketball, which has always been at the core of my athletic journey. It has shown me the importance of dedication and hard work in achieving my goals.
My drive to succeed is fueled by an unwavering commitment to self-improvement and a desire to bring out the best in myself and my teammates. Basketball has shaped me as a player and as a person, instilling values like teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. Every setback - whether in basketball or another sport - has strengthened my resolve to work harder and dream bigger. It's taught me that overcoming challenges is an integral part of growth.
My goals are ambitious yet attainable. I aspire to play at the collegiate level and contribute to a team that shares my passion for the game. Beyond that, I aim to inspire others, especially young players, to embrace challenges and pursue their dreams with relentless determination. I am committed to positive impacts both on and off the court.
