Personal Statement

My dream since I was little was to play college basketball. Unfortunately, this past football season I tore my acl in our first game and am currently going through rehab and physical therapy. I am scheduled to be cleared in April. I plan on either joining an AAU program or doing private workouts with teammates during the spring. My goals for college are to be successful in my academics, play basketball, and make meaningful relationships with my teammates, coaches, and peers. I am a hardworking kid who is willing to do whatever it takes. I will not try to do too much, but I will do anything and everything I can to help make our team successful.

This camp developed my fundamentals and put me in a lot of game-like situations. I went two years. I went my freshman and sophomore years of high school.

Forrest Larson Camp
This camp was led by Forrest Larson, a very successful high school coach from Wisconsin. This camp really worked my fundamentals hard and focused mainly on ball handling and finishing. I went the summer before my junior year of high school and plan on going again next summer.

I am in the weight room 3 days a week throughout the year whenever I do not have sports commitments such as practice and games. I have a weight room at my home that I use for my conditioning and core workouts. My weights (bench, squat, clean) come in our school weight room whether it be on my own or with whatever sports team I am with.
