Personal Statement
My long term collegiate goals and aspiration is to be the best that I can be. I put in hours of work in the gym and in the weight room. Everyone calls me a gym rat that never leaves. I am always the last person and first person in the gym. My goal in college ball is to play at the highest level my skill provides. I want to be on a team that plays me, I don't want to go to a college that is just gonna set me, because I want to make an impact on the team I play for.
What makes me a good candidate for the team? I am a leader on my high school basketball team and among my peers. I am a quick learner, I am also very coachable. If I am told to do something that will improve my game, the next time I'm in the gym I'm working on it. I know that no matter how much work I put in, there will always be room for improvement!
What makes me different form other recruits in character, athletics and academics, is that very time I step on that court, I know I'm the best player. I have a lot of heart, I don't stop until I hear the last buzzer buzz. I am not self-centered, I love sharing the ball. I have really good court vision. When I make a pretty pass, or do something insane and make the crowd go, "Ahhh". That is one of the best feelings. I put my team before myself. If I'm being double-teamed there is always one person open and it's my job as PG, or SG to locate that teammate. I do this so my team as a whole will be successful.
