Personal Statement
My name is Kyndall Smith Copeland, I am a 17 year old Junior at Eminence High School. I have been a starter on our varsity team since I was a freshman. Our basketball team won class 1 district 3 championship in the 2015-2016 season and we went all the way to quarter finals in 2016-2017 season.
What makes me different from other recruits is my desire to get better. There is never a day when I am satisfied with my skill level. I believe that I can always get better and even more importantly make the players around me better. I am always thinking about what I could do if I could just jump a little bit higher, run faster, or was stronger. That is the person I am always striving to be. That is the person I will always be working to be.
Academically I have always scored mostly A's and B's. My GPA is 3.75. On the ACT I scored a 22 composite score, 25 in Mathematics, 24 in Science, 20 in English, and 19 in Reading.
My ultimate goal is to play collegiate level basketball. I will do whatever it takes to accomplish it. I have put countless hours working on my game, learning the game, and participating in camps to improve my skills.
