Personal Statement

I started playing basketball for the first time at the age of 13 when my mom introduced me to the sport that I loved now. The reason why I love the game of basketball is that it's being able to work together as a team. I have a passion for the game of basketball from the very first day I pick up a ball. In my freshman year 2018, I won the MCSAA All-State 2nd Team and was named the Most Improved Player on the Varsity Basketball Team. In my sophomore year 2019, I was awarded for Excellent Leadership on the Varsity Basketball Team.  Our Varsity Basketball Team won MCSSA 2020 Division 1 State Champions and MCSSA awarded me All-State 2nd Team and the Most Dominant Player. I work very hard in school to get the grades I get because I know without the education I can't move to the next level and that is college basketball. I will bring leadership and strength to the next team that I play for to help our team be the best that we can be.
