Dustin Bloodgood '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Dustin Bloodgood. I live in a small town that is centered around the sports of basketball, baseball, and softball. I am a 6'4" shooting guard from Iberia, Missouri.  I recently attended Avila University for a semester playing basketball for Coach Rodney Perry. I am looking for a junior college where i can go to get better for another college or a college that is willing to help me out not only in basketball but in my future.  I will be a great fit for a high intensity run and gun offense that is okay with shooting transition three's. I believe that is one of my strengths and will do anything to prove that i can be a good fit for a team. 

I arrive early for every practice and always am the last to leave. I play basketball year round; during the summer months my family travels every weekend to tournaments allowing me and my brother to play basketball. When there are no organized games I meet my college friends, who play basketball, for a few games of street ball. This past summer I was able to play against professional basketball players from Europe in a college tournament. I am competitive, I want to win, I have played against some of the best basketball players in the nation and I can hold my own and then some on offense and defense. I am extremely easy to coach and open to criticism, I think you have to be open to criticism to learn and grow as a player.
