Personal Statement
I am a 6'4" guard forward from the small ranching community of Bainville, Montana. I have played basketball for the Bainville Bulldogs at the varsity level for four years. I will graduate with honors at the top of the 2012 Class.
I have participated in Basketball, Track and Football, all at the varsity level, throughout my High School career and am a 1st Team All Conference player in Basketball and Track. I have been top rebounder all 4 years in High School and basketball MVP for the 2011 season. I also have the honor of being selected to play in the Senior Crowne Classic tournament for the top seniors in the state of Montana. I was also voted in as a player in the 2012 Treasure State All-Star game for Football this June.
I am a well rounded, coachable, athlete who has barely begun to tap the potential I feel is within me. I feel I would add a very positive presence to your team both on the court as well as in my academic pursuits. I am a versital player who can read the court. I have been a team captain this year in Football and Basketball and am currently in many leadership roles at my school. My ideal school would be any school with an outstanding engineering program, as my academics have always been a priority along with my strong passion for athletics. I would love the opportunity to play for a coach who was committed to making me the player they need.
I see myself being a part of a well-coached team and playing with strong athletes who can add me into the teams mission. I am dedicated to making the strongest contribution possible during my college career. I have never gone a year without being involved in athletics year-round and know my commitment will be constant and strong.
Sincerely,
Weston Harmon
