Personal Statement
My desire to play basketball at the collegiate level has fueled my determination and self-motivation as a student-athlete. Growing up in a small, rural town has taught me to use the limited resources available and work hard, every day, to achieve my goals. I intend to continue this growth, both mentally and physically, in my remaining high school career and through college.
My athletic career goals are to continue to be a shooting threat and solid defensive player. I will also continue to be a positive influence for my teammates to help elevate us to the next level. I am eager to begin my next chapter and start my studies in athletic training or physical therapy, with the end goal of being accepted into medical school. This transition will allow me to continue with my goals of personal growth, both athletically and academically.
