Carter Kearns '18 Recruiting Profile

    Since I was born I have always had a basketball near me. My parents gave me a ball and set up a hoop right next to my crib. I have been shooting ever since. Now I like to think i'm pretty good but all I want to do is to get even better. Basketball is what I know. Whenever something goes wrong in life, whether I am frustrated in school or something bad happens in the family, I just go shoot. It's my relief, it's my joy and I truly love the game. 

    My High School basketball career began as a skinny, awkward and enthusiastic freshman, starting on varsity. Once those tryout started my freshman year no one knew what to expect. We got a knew coach so everyone at tryouts had a clean slate. Which was great for me because I knew, I was better then anyone else in the gym. I beat out 3 seniors for that spot and since then I have only gotten better.
