Hunter Hedrick '16 Recruiting Profile

I love this game so much. I've been playing my whole life and have dreamed of getting the opportunity to play basketball at the collegiate level. I work hard at my game every single day and I will not stop until I'm the best I can be. I have heart and passion for this game and will continue to work as hard as I possibly can to improve. Nobody will get in my way. I always have reminded myself that if I do not work at my game consistently then there will be another athlete out there somewhere who is working and getting the scholarship that I could have received. I'm easy to coach because I understand basketball and pay close attention to the details of this sport. I'd even like to become a basketball coach one day, but not without more basketball experience. Whoever reads this, give me a chance to show you that I not only can play this sport, but that I also have a mind for it. I've worked the hardest at my handles because taking care of the basketball is the most important skill a Point Gaurd should have. I have great court vision and passing ability as well. I have worked so hard to perfect my shooting abilities, not only for catch and shoot opportunities, but also off the dribble. I can get to the basket and finish with contact. I stick my free throws whenever I go to the line. My coach has always stressed to me how important free throws are and how they can win basketball games for you. All of what I'm saying is legit and if you give me a chance I can prove everything to you. This sport is so important to me and I give and will continue to give everything I have for it.
