Riley Schilz '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was in the third grade.  I have always enjoyed the game of basketball, but truly found my love for the game during my high school years.  I am a team player dedicating the time and commitment necessary to become the best I can be.  I am currently practicing an hour every morning at the local YMCA before school, as well as three hours after school every day whether it be lifting weights, running on the treadmill or practicing my basketball skills.  Even with the dedication I have put forth in the gym, I am still concentrating on keeping my academics in check with a 3.92 GPA, taking AP/dual enrollment courses, being a part of the National Honor Society, G-Club, FCA and GHS Harmony singing/performing group.

My dream is to compete at a collegiate level and find a college that has the right fit for me including an outstanding athletic program and a strong academic profile to help me pursue my future goals.  I would love the opportunity to prove myself at a higher level and with my determination and drive, I feel I would be a perfect fit on and off the court for the right college.
