Thomas Woods '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Thomas Woods.  I am a 6'3'' forward playing for Arthur L Johnson high school in Clark, NJ.  I led my team in rebounds as the only starting junior this year and look forward to being team captain next season.  I am a 4 sport varsity athlete earning letters in basketball, football, baseball and cross country.  But my passion has always been basketball.

Since as young as I can remember basketball has always been my life.  I have played travel, club and for my middle/high school teams.  My club team, NJ Bulldogs, went to national competitions twice and earned 4th place in Greensboro in 2018.  All my life I've known basketball is what I want to do and I want to continue that in college.

I know I can compete at a collegiate level and play with the best.  Whatever I am needed to do, I'll do it.  If you want me to crash the boards, handle the ball, make the shots, or get my teammates a drink during timeout - I will always put my team and winning first.  If you ask my coaches what sets me apart they will tell you I always give 110%.  I will not be outworked and I always want to be matched against the best opponent.

Basketball is the game I have been committed to since day one.  It is my passion and what I take the most pride in.
