Personal Statement
I am 6'1" tall, weigh 160 lbs have a 75" wingspan and a 31" vertical leap. I can bench press 150 lbs, dead lift 190 lbs, and I squat well over 240 lbs for reps. However, those are just numbers. As a result of playing competitive basketball for 10 years, I have a very high basketball IQ. I am a quick learner and a good observer, and I am ready at any moment to check into a game. I want to be able to go to a college or university that provides a good reputation academically and athletically. I would be up to the task of maintaining that reputation as well as helping to add to it. I have never gone back on any major commitments regarding schooling or athletics (I'm not a quitter). If misfortune comes to the team I'm playing for, I will stay the course, whether the storm, and be an example and a leader to my teammates.
