Stephen Lennox '15 Recruiting Profile

     Hi, my name is Stephen Lennox and I am a junior here at Lovington High School, in Lovington, NM. Before I start, I would like to state that none of this would be poosible without my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is what wakes me up in the morning, and keeps me going. Over this past season I averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots. I received several awards and honors, including First Team All-State and District MVP. One of my biggest goals and dreams I have had since I was introduced to basketball is to play at the collegiate level. The first time I picked up a basketball, I instantly fell in love with the game. Since then, I have fallen in love with the process it takes to improve and get better at this game. Over my lifetime so far, I have spent thousands of hours in the gym and like to call myself a "gym rat". I love getting into the gym and working on my game, getting in the weightroom, etc. Standing at 6'8" barefoot, I weigh 200 lbs. I have a 7'1" wingspan to go along these attributes. I also have a 28 inch vertical, which is improving on a daily basis. Along with these physical attributes, I have a strong motor in me to keep my striving towards my goal. I am a leader on the court and a great example for my teammates, always giving %100. Going into my senior year, I plan on taking another giant leap in skill level and leading my team to a State Championship. Along with my athletic skills, I am a great student in the classroom, carrying a 4.45/4.0 GPA, and so far have a 24 on my ACT which I plan on improving. Thank you for taking the time to read about me.
