JUNIOR HODNETT - ...Personal Statement
My name is Ronald Hodnett, Jr but go by Junior. I have played basketball since I was 4. I really enjoy playing and winning. My goal is to play basketball in college as I pursue a degree in Accounting.
I consider myself to be a great shooter, teammate and very coachable. I would be a great addition to any team because I have a positive attitude and bring positive energy to the team. I am hoping to get an offer to play at the next level. I would like to show coaches that I would be a great choice and player for the team.
I am a good candidate for any basketball team because I have a strong work ethic, sense of situational awareness and great basketball IQ. I was moved from the C-team, to JV and then to Varsity as a freshman. I work well with teammates. I can shoot the ball well from the 3 point (broke high school record...shooting 43% for season), can drive the ball and attack the basket and am a great defender. I will be a great asset for the back court as a point or shooting guard.
