Personal Statement

Hello, I'm Matthew. My goal is to play division 1 college basketball after I graduate from high school and to someday play in the NBA. I love this sport so much, basketball is my dream and it's been my dream ever since I was a kid. For a little while now people have asked me if I ever thought of doing something else besides basketball, and my answer has always been no because playing basketball is the only I want to do for a living. I'm a very humble and respectful kid towards my coaches and teachers, I always give 110% every time I'm out on that court. I don't stop playing until that last buzzer goes off. I dedicate my life to the game to make sure I get better and better each year so that I can show what I am capable whenever i'm playing. I want to make sure that I can take care of my family in the future and give them everything they deserve after going through every step of the way with me. This is what drives me to continue to become a great player one day and pushes me to work harder and harder every day to achieve these two goals of mine.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
