My name is Tyler Banfield and I have loved basketball since I was little kid and would love to play at the college level. When it comes to basketball I play shooting guard and point guard and I have improved every season since my freshman year and have increased my skills on both ends of the floor. A few years ago, I could barely get the ball to the rim from the 3 point line and now I average about 4 a game. I have played for multiple AAU Programs in my area like, Cortland Basketball Club, Status Pro Athletics, and Southern Tier Rage. When it comes to school, I work as hard as I can to maintain a solid GPA, and raise it whenever possible. Sports have taught me how to work hard and become a better leader. I have tried to translate those ethics to school and other parts of my life as well. Character is the most important thing to me in my life along with showing great sportsmanship and respect on and off the court. This has helped me gain respect from coaches, teachers, members of the community and other players. It has been a dream of mine to play at the college level and go to college in order to take that first step in achieving my life goals. Please feel free to contact me.
