Gent Shala '16 Recruiting Profile

I'm Gent Shala. I'm from Kosovo, Europe. I play for the national team of my country. This year i'm an exchange student in Hudson Falls.

Everyone who loves this sport knows that basketball is more than just a hobby and more than just passion. Basketball is more about teamwork. I personally play for my team and it doesn't matter who is on my team as long as we have the same goal, help each other, respect each other and win. I started to play basketball when I was 9 years and my love for this game continues to grow with every passing day. I'm from Kosovo which is the newest country in Europe, and one of the smallest too. I played for Sigal Prishtina since I started playing basketball, which is the best team in Kosovo. It has always been a goal of mine to play for a high caliber United States college team. To achieve my goal I started to learn English, then I went to an American School in Kosovo for two years. I finished my last year of high school in United States and now i came back to my country. I'm a freshman in American University of Kosovo.
