Emmanuel Mayfield '17 Recruiting Profile

I'm a basketball player who loves sports. I'm a team player I can pass the ball and bring scoring to the table I play pretty good defense. I'm a young man with a good sense of humor and like to have fun like others also respectable to others I work hard in school to get the highest grades I can. I play for Norman Thomas High School where I played every single year since I enrolled in high school. My coach push me just as hard as I push my self to be the best I can be. A highlight for me this season 2015-2016 was being the number 1 ranked player in the city of New York and winning 2 awards 1 for league leader in points per game and 2nd for league leader in most points scored also making New York City All City 3rd team . I worked very hard to be where I am today having to overcome all of the doubt from other athletes and coaches. I would love to play college basketball at any level but ever player dream is to play D-1 OR D-2 basketball I would like major in engineering while doing so. I excel in scoring the ball well and shooting the well my mid-range is great. Im also a pretty good defender. I am very coachable, humble, and a fast learner that can perform the role as leader as well as a follower with a high sense of discipline, respect, and loyal to the game and school. I would love to play for any D-1 OR D-2 school because Im very confident that my skills, talent and leadership to the team. I'm full of joy and I love to see other people do good and succeed in life I am a very good teammate.
